That Time I Took A Summer Job As A Hitman

In That Time I Took A Summer Job As A Hitman, you play as Jordan. An ex-military veteran who now spends his time playing videogames in his air conditioned home.

Unfortunately for him, summer is arriving and it's about time he paid the bills once again! As per usual, John Joe, who is Jordan's handler, has a contract ready and waiting.

Every contract has extra collateral. The Jerrys; bodyguards who protect your targets. Get through the Jerrys and fulfill your contract!

Controls

A and D - Left and Right
Mouse - Aim
Left Click - Shoot
Right Click - Aim
R - Reload
F - Kick
C - Crouch
V - Push
E - Use Stairs

IF STUCK -- (In case of progression stunting bugs)
Hold escape for 5 seconds to restart level
Hold backspace for 5 seconds to disengage hiding (For whatever reason, table cover can sometimes get sticky)

Goes without saying, the scope for this project was higher than I should have set; I should have realised how little time I would have to work on this project with class on but oh well!

This is a solo project; BESIDES THE MUSIC DOWNLOADED FROM FREEMUSICARCHIVE.ORG the game in its entirety was created solely by me, and within the two weeks set for the June/July Jackpot Jam.


The build labelled "PRERELEASE" is available in the event that I forget to upload the final release.  It is missing audio and the level end. (Unavailable for further downloads)

"PRERELEASE_V2" has been release. Includes an ending +  some homemade sound effects included.

"FINALBUILD" is probably the last version of the game. Includes music downloaded from freemusicarchive.org.
